There was an upset in Moca where top-rankedIndios (7-1) were defeated by seventh ranked Heroes (3-4) 80-75 on Sunday. Heroes shot 32 for 45 from the free-throw line, while Indios only scored sixteen points from the stripe. Heroes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Eloy Vargas (211-1988, college: Kentucky, agency: BIG) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Caleb Huffman (193-2000, college: Nicholls) chipped in 25 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Kittitian forward Kingsley Fitzgerald (188-1986) with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Heroes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Marineros and Titanes. Indios at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. They share it with Metros.
